Women's History Month 2018: Records For Researching Her Life

March marks Women's History Month. Each March (this is my 5th year of posts) I spend 30 days providing information about researching female ancestors. Each year my hope is that it provides you with additional resources to assist in your research. This year's theme for  Women's History Month is Records for Researching Her Life.

What records tell her story? Let's trace her life  from birth to death and analyze the records that do just that. We'll look at a different record each day. In some cases it will be  a record that may be familiar to you but others will be unique genealogical sources.

30 days, 30 records. Each post contains an image, a description, and additional resources. Descriptions will include for finding those records.

Don't forget to check out my other Women's History Month posts from previous years (see sidebar).

Let's get started! Tomorrow begins our journey into the records that tell your female ancestor's story.
