Sometimes museums have stuff to see on the ceiling. Vatican museum. (2019) Gena Philibert-Ortega
For this edition of Women’s History Month 2021/Church Records Sunday I’m providing a short list of various religious museums that can help you research your ancestor. These are museums that provide historical exhibits and/or include libraries and archives. This is in no way a comprehensive list but one that can hopefully inspire you to consider what might exist for your ancestor’s religion.
To find additional resources you can Google the name of the church
and the word “museum.” In some cases, the place you are looking for might be
called a historical society, historical site, heritage center, library or
archive.
