What was she a member of? Did she belong to a lineage group? Was she a member of a benevolent group? Was her husband in a fraternal group? Maybe she was in a female auxiliary to that group.

Clues to a membership group might be found as a home source in her personal papers or her jewelry. There might be something indicating a membership on her burial marker. Perhaps she is listed as a member of a group in a newspaper article.
As you document her membership, consider writing about the following:
- What was the name of the group?
- What was/is the history of that group?
- How did one become a member?
- What activities did that group conduct?
- What did she do as a member of that group?
- What material items are left behind that document her membership?
