The other thing I like about this site is there is a pdf article on burial customs, http://www.salemcongregation.org/docs/GRAVEYARD%20BURIAL%20CUSTOMS-1.pdf. It explains a few of the Moravian burial customs including burying everyone in chronological order and that women, men and children are separated. All the stones are also simple to remind the living of "the equality of the dead in God's sight."

Your "Church Records Sunday" is a great idea! I hope it catches on! When I found the the church record for my husband's immigrant gg grandfather, I found the link to the next generation! The German Lutheran ministers recorded each person's parents and home countries! Great find! I had to go to Manhattan to the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society to sit at a Microfilm reader for several hours looking at 1850-ish records recorded in German, but it was definitely worth the trip!
