A Word of Thanks: Genealogy Roadshow

Any large project requires the assistance of other people, especially when you are researching. While it would seem that genealogy is an individual pursuit done in front of the computer, I know in the case of researching Genealogy Roadshow it was anything but. I had research assistance at repositories and asked many questions of experts. Some of the documents  pulled and stories researched didn't make the final cut of the show but I appreciate the assistance nevertheless.

The danger in creating an acknowledgement list is that someone is going to invariably be forgotten. If I've forgotten to add your name here it's not because I didn't appreciate your help, I simply forgot.

My huge thanks and appreciation go to:

Luana Darby of Lineages by Luana
Steve Luxenberg, author of Annie's Ghosts
David Allen Lambert of New England Historic Genealogical Society
Gary Clark of PhotoTree.com
Madaleine Laird of KinfoLit
Angela Walton-Raji of African Roots Podcast
Kim Cotton
Angie Rodesky of Sweet Tea, Tart Lemons, and Memories
Marilyn Valuja Poole
Thelma Battle
Jana Sloan Broglin
Sheri Fenley of The Educated Genealogist
Heather Isbell Kramer
Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum
Tennessee State Library and Archives
Tennessee State Museum
Nashville Public Library

Genealogy Roadshow Lead Researcher Jean Wilcox Hibben  has a series of blog posts about Genealogy Roadshow and will be adding an acknowledgement post as well. Check out her posts on Circlemending.

Oh my goodness! I hadn't even seen this until a year later after Googling myself. Thanks for the mention!! Not sure how I helped but glad to be of service to a fellow genealogist.
